People are usually their happiest when at home.

The words of William Shakespeare, still true in the 21st Century!

What’s the worst thing that could happen should you start your home based business in your spare time? It doesn’t work out and you fall back on your day job.

But you’ll have valuable experience and the satisfaction that you tried. Most likely, the opportunity that you chose wasn’t right for you but, guaranteed, there is one out there for you.

There’s a way, though, to make it almost guaranteed that you will succeed and that is to prepare yourself properly by doing your research. Think about it, if you were starting a “bricks and mortar” business, you’d have to put a lot of effort into a business plan. You will need to convince a lender to back you and suppliers to give you credit. Then you need customers!

By starting part-time, from home and with a business model that is already proven to work, there is little financial risk. Network Marketing is all about people and relationships, you do it already although you may not know it. It works like this. You see a good film and recommend it to friends. They go to see it and recommend it to their friends. You’re not selling the film, you’re just telling others that you enjoyed it and it could be good for them to see it too! That’s networking.

So talk to me, even if you’re not interested in my Brands, I’ll happily talk you through the way to find and decide upon the business for you. As I’ve just said, networking is not about selling, I don’t pressure people to join me, I learnt a long time ago that that approach wastes your time and mine.

In my next post, I’ll cover what could happen once you have decided to start.
